Greetings FAITH families,
What a year this is shaping out to be. First, I want to thank you all for your continued support and partnership in providing a great Christ-centered education for our community. We are excited about the continued face to face instruction and celebrating the wonderful things happening at FAITH.
December 1st is deemed “Giving Tuesday,” and in years past we have been blessed to receive some great funding that provided for unplanned needs that came up throughout the year. This year, we want to be more specific and intentional.
Goal: $15,000
– Laptops
– A Bus
– Substitute Teacher Compensation
We were informed of an opportunity to acquire a bus. In the past, we have rented from local busing companies, used carpooling, or borrowed from families to help get students to and from different events. However, with this opportunity we could not only help with some extra-curricular support but also help support student transitions from the elementary to the MS/HS (i.e.- aftercare). We also feel this could support our mission to expand our college and career readiness agenda at the high school for college visits or tours of potential Youth Apprenticeship options.
Secondly, we have a few other needs that have arose due to continued growth. Our technology goal continues to be ‘Access but not Excess,’ however getting access to 230+ students requires more devices. Therefore, we are looking to add to our Chromebook carts, iPad carts, and Surface pro carts so every class has access to be utilize technology and learn how to appropriately do so.
Lastly, we do have a need for some COVID relief with extra staffing and substitute teacher support costs that continue to pile up, in addition to COVID equipment to ensure remote/online learning can continue to develop.
We are asking to consider participating to support FAITH during ‘Giving Tuesday,’ and through the month of December to help us raise our goal of $15,000. During the month of December, we will be highlighting some of the wonderful things going on at FAITH this year and ask you share with your friends and families in order to help us reach this goal.
We are SO thankful for this place and what God continues to do through it. Please pray for this opportunity and the school as we strive to provide a quality Christ-centered education for our community.
