Testimony
As a busy mom of three and an Artist, I’m always trying to seek balance in my life. I attended UW-Stout and graduated in 2003 with a double Bachelors degree in Art Education and Fine Art. It wasn’t until after marriage, children, and a busy career path that I found Christ again and craved His presence. My art background included having my own interior art business for over 15 years, where I worked in many homes and businesses in the area as a freelance artist.
My most recent prayer was to simply be present for my family while serving Him with my artistic abilities. He has answered prayer and it is a blessing to be at FAITH, teaching what I love and sharing my experience as an Artist and Christian, while getting to be with my own children.
It warms my heart to know my family is an extension of the FAITH family, and I feel that peace with my fellow students and co-workers. Recently I’ve been exploring how Art therapy techniques can help us express and heal. God has given us all a unique ability to be creative in different ways and I hope to accomplish that with my students. “As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.” -Luke 8:15
Church
We are members of Highland Community Church and you can find my artwork and murals on the walls of the nursery there, as well as serving in creative ministries, such as past MOPs creative director, His Plans our Hands puppet ministry, and design consulting.
