Mrs. Rhonda Mathias

I came to know Jesus at a young age due to the influence of my Christ-following parents and the loving environment of my childhood, for which I am eternally grateful. I graduated from Anderson University with a major in Math Education and a minor in Piano Performance in 1997. My junior high sweetheart (!) David Mathias and I were married in 2000, in the middle of my 5-year stint teaching math in large public high schools both in Southern California and Washington state. I LOVED teaching in these settings, but it was a blessing in 2003 to switch from the role of full-time teacher to full-time parent. David and I have 6 children, ranging in age from 4th grade to freshman in college. During this parenting season, I have continued to enjoy teaching in many church and family settings, and am looking forward to returning to the classroom this fall.
