“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.” Deuteronomy 6:5-6
I grew up in a Christian home and developed a love for Jesus at a young age. It wasn’t until I was an adult, did I fully realize the enormity of this commandment. To love the Lord with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my might was something I knew, but was not always on my heart. Once I realized the sin that I had been living in did this verse lead me back to a true relationship with God. To love God with all of my heart, soul, and might is something that I continually pray for and strive for. I also pray this over my family.
I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and graduated from Northern Michigan University with a BSN in Nursing in 2006. I practiced nursing until August 2019, when we moved from Ohio to Wausau. Health and medicine have always been a passion of mine. I enjoy playing and watching sports, cooking and baking healthy meals, and learning about health. As a nurse, there was a lot of teaching that I did with my patients and their families. It has been an incredible experience to share some of this by teaching Phys. Ed.
My husband and I have four kids. I previously homeschooled our children. This year is our first year at FAITH Christian Academy and we are so incredibly happy that we made this decision. Being part of the FAITH family has been such a blessing for all of us. We attend Highland Community Church in Wausau.
