Testimony

I grew up in a Christian home in which I am very thankful.  I came to know Christ as my personal Savior at Vacation Bible school at the church our family attended at nine years of age.  I continued to grow in Christ during my high school years through our church youth group that provided many opportunities to minister to other people’s lives, laying the foundation for me to start thinking about becoming a teacher.  In college, I was challenged by life’s deep questions (what is the meaning of life?) and that drove me to really think about my faith.  I got ahold of many Francis Schaffer books from my church library and read them.  I realized at that point that the Bible did give the only true and real answers to life’s questions and problems which increased my confidence and faith in God which would guide me through all of life’s good times and bad.

After college, I taught high school math at Faith Christian School in Coleman where I also coached volleyball and basketball and enjoyed my time there.  I then went to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Marinette to serve as a math instructor there for 33 years until retirement in 2020.

I am married to my wife Renee and God has blessed us with 4 children. We recently moved to Wasuau to be near our grandchildren.  I am a big proponent of Christian Education and am excited to see how God will work in the lives of young people at FCA.
