Testimony

“I came to Christ in grade school when I was invited to my cousin’s church retreat. I continued to grow in my walk by being involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes in High School.  I feel the Lord used Christian music to help me grow spiritually at a young age and music continues to strengthen my walk still today. I continue to grow in my faith thanks to my home church and the ministries offered at Highland Community Church.  One of my favorite verses is “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:16

I am thankful to be on staff at FAITH and enjoy working with the teachers and students here. FAITH is a special place for our family as our children will often say “it feels like home as we are one big family”.  I love sports and I am so thankful to be teaching physical education at FAITH. My students know my favorite sport is basketball but there is a long list of other sports I enjoy!  My husband Henry and I have four children. We enjoy being outside, water skiing, playing basketball and biking as a family.”

Church

Our family worships at Highland Community Church where we have been attending for 13 years. I am involved in a variety of children’s ministries at Highland and thankful to be part of their ministries, especially those serving our children.
