Mrs. Emily Koehler

Student Services/Guidance

I support students beyond their general classroom setting. I come alongside students to support them during times of need while bringing them back to the Gospel. I am working alongside the Student Success Team to provide and manage Student Improvement Plans and making sure classrooms are functioning in an orderly manner to promote learning.

BA, Youth Ministry
Northwestern University St. Paul

“I became a Christian when I was young, at the age of five. I grew up in a Christian home and didn’t really make Christianity my own, until my world was rocked with my parents’ divorce at the age of 16.  It was then that I realized I needed to rededicate my life to the Lord, and seek Him in all that I do, because I knew that He would never leave me or forsake me, which was a huge comfort at that time.

I went to a one-year Bible college my freshman year of college, and really grew in my relationship with the Lord, and made it my own, and not my “parents’ religion.” I went to Northwestern University and graduated with a youth ministry degree, because I knew that I wanted to be able to work with and impact youth, especially since those years were a struggle for me.
I am so thankful to be working at FCA in this role. I love that I can speak into these children’s lives and be a part of a support system for them. I continue to live my life striving to love God and love people, while hopefully having an impact on student’s lives, for God’s glory.
