Middle School Bible
I am privileged to teach our Middle School Bible class for 7th & 8th grade students. They keep me on my toes! My desire is to point them to see the Bible as not just a book of stories but as a place where we see God and grow in our understanding of Him. We encounter truths that direct our current moments as well as our plans.
B.A. in Youth Ministry
Prairie Bible College, 2009
“When I was a young girl I remember being invited to a Good News Club and clearly hearing the gospel in a way that caused me to want to respond. Every day of that week I raised my hand to have the kind women pray with me for my sin and for salvation, as I was young and did not quite understand sanctification.
“Through church youth groups, Christian education, and youth Bible studies I began to grow in my understanding of the Lord which stirred up my hunger for more. While serving at a youth camp in Illinois one summer, I encountered the Lord in a very personal way that ignited a passion in my heart for God’s Word, and a desire to grow in Him.
“After graduation from Prairie Bible College, I ended up back in my hometown of Waupun, WI for a summer. Through God-controlled events, I met my husband, Russ Bahr, and moved up to Wausau where we got married and started life together. A few years later, I found myself hungering to find a position where I could use my knowledge and skills to disciple students. An opportunity to teach and to work in athletics presented itself at Faith Christian Academy.
“I have been so blessed to be able to work and serve in this capacity for this season.”
My husband and I attend church at Highland Community Church where I enjoy leading worship, and teaching in Children’s Church and One Way Club, when the opportunities present themselves.
